To produce a Mini Frankfurter to a specific weight and meat content that met the cost parameters and was to reheat. The Mini Frankfurters are part of a major new initiative - the mini party range. Close to 2.0 million units are expected to be consumed over the Christmas period.

Working in partnership with one of our factories we invested in new machinery to meet the brief and now allows us to produce Frankfurters from 11grams to 160 grams. Previously we could only produce Frankfurters down to 30grams.

This investment we believe was worth it as we are now able to supply an increased range of Frankfurters and makes us one of the largest importers of Scandinavian Frankfurters into the UK.

Samples of the new Mini Frankfurters were delivered to the customer a week after receiving the brief.

Client response

The customer presented the Mini Frankfurter in a mini bread roll with mini cooked burgers in buns. This is now a new exciting addition to the Christmas offering at this large retailer.
